We can provide care for any child under 21 years of age, however, we may be limited to the services provided to children with more complex health conditions such as:
- Developmental syndromes
- Seizure disorders
- Immune disorders
For children with these conditions, in person evaluation may be best, however, there are some acute care needs TotSpot Telehealth, PLLCÂ may be able to help with.
Yes! Our pediatric providers can provide care for all children under the age of 21, including babies and toddlers.
There are some circumstances for newborns that require an in-person evaluation, or in some cases emergency care. However, your provider will alert you immediately and help you get to the right level of in-person care if they believe that is the case.
Yes, if deemed medically necessary, the providers at TotSpot Telehealth, PLLC are licensed and credentialed to provide care, including antibiotics, if needed.
With your request and permission, TotSpot Telehealth, PLLC can send any information regarding your child's virtual visits to your primary pediatrician so they can have a full medical record for your child.
We are happy to provide care, and welcome all families, regardless of their child's vaccination status. We understand the choice to vaccinate is a very personal decision. However, we will be limited in what we can do via a telehealth visit, since many serious illnesses prevented by vaccinations often need an in-person examination to rule out.
Yes! After your child is seen by one of our pediatricians or health care providers, we are able to write school notes and absence notes, as medically appropriate.
Yes! While TotSpot Telehealth, PLLC is able to treat many acute care conditions of childhood, we are not a replacement for your child's pediatrician. We recommend you go to your child’s PCP for:
- Wellness visits & school/sport physicals
- Chronic condition management
- Specialist referrals
- Vaccines

When it comes to pediatric care, there are a lot of issues that make TotSpot Telehealth, PLLC a better option than generalized telemedicine:
- Your insurance company's telemedicine may not be able to treat a lot of childhood illnesses (for example, ear infections) because they don't hire board-certified pediatricians to provide care. In this case, you'll end up paying for both the telemedicine visit and an urgent care visit afterwards.
- TotSpot Telehealth, PLLC hires only experienced, trusted pediatric providers. Our pediatric providers have practiced in multiple settings including the emergency room, pediatric urgent care, the pediatric intensive care unit, outpatient pediatrics, as well as other acute settings.
- Your insurance company's telemedicine provider may still have long waits (1-2 hours), or may not even be available 24/7. TotSpot Telehealth, PLLC allows you to quickly book a visit through the website with one of our pediatric providers, and receive care within minutes.
At this time, we do not accept insurance.
